I read the NY times, Washington Post, And Washington Times along with the NY post. I like both points of view. Palin can not even decide basic foriegn policy points, because she lacks a world view. Glad she was nominated, because McCain lost the election because of his poor choice. That is what happens when you appease the right.
This wasn’t a “gotcha” question.
Couric asked her what she reads regularly to develop her world view, stay informed and to understand the world.
If you argue she “couldn’t” answer the question for fear of criticism, what does that say about her strength of character and ability to whether a storm? What do you read to stay informed? That’s a hard question? If you consider that hard you’re essentially calling her a weak minded person who can’t defend her point of view.

Don’t quote me on this, but I think 95% of Americans watch nothing but T.V. flipping from station to station in an almost zombie like heroin addict type state, brainwashing at least half of them. Finally, and Happy New Year by the way, I truly think Obama won’t go with the censorship doctrine. I think he will be in HUGE trouble if he does that. I mean, it will get ugly. Again, he has so much of the media on his side as it is… it’s built in- be it Jay Leno, Letterman, Jon Stewart’s show is left-wing slop, most singers are tools, Hollywood idiots are TOLD from the top-down to be liberal. If there money was coming from the right, they would suddenly be conservative. 2010 will be our year.

Again, not saying it means an automatic Republican victory. But I would take my chances on Florida over New York if I am a Republican candidate without question. No, the liberal areas are actually dying out. That is a fact. Obama may represent the last of a dying breed. NY will lose 2 seats after the census going down to 29, Ohio will lose two electoral votes, Mass., one vote, New Jersey one vote, Iowa one vote while places like North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, South Carolina GAIN ELECTORAL VOTES. All developed countries, except the US, have realized that certain services such as health care are the right of every citizen and therefore should be provided by the government. And yes we pay higher taxes, but we also get better services. And 90% of the population living near the border is only because the whether is much better in the south than further north.
