That was because of the Fed. The Fed created the dot-com bubble and the housing bubble. There was no prosperity.

The tech bubble was largely do to the fact that the Fed was in expansion mode. After it burst, we should have faced a recession, but we didn’t because George Bush pressured Greenspan into lowering interest rates to 1%.
